I wrote my first poem at the age of six and loved writing ever since. During my career, I taught Performing Arts at a variety of colleges and enjoyed lecturing in the art of script writing, radio plays and children’s theatre. I have directed and acted in many plays in theatre, worked in television, and now a children’s author. I have published two books about Derek the Alien and also collaborated with other authors in publishing a short story book. I also visit schools as a children’s author to inspire young writers. My love of writing has been with me for as long as I can remember. Now living in Shropshire, I share my love of writing with my son Elliot.
